First off, I'd like to thank everyone who's commented on the passing of the Professor; I will have replies for you as quickly as I can. We're getting the details of the memorial event nailed down at the moment, so we're pretty busy. Here's the 'formal' announcement:

It's been two weeks now, and the lovely Thiolleb has been kind enough to stay with Ambereen to help out with the household stuff and whatever else might be needed. The rest of my extended family has been in and out over there as well, catching up on all of the spring chores that needed to be done to keep up the big old house. Last weekend saw us taking out the chair-lifts that Phil used to have to use to get up and down the stairs; heavy industry, with the massive rack-and-pinion units taking three of us to dismantle and lift.
And the game session last Saturday was particularly poignant; Ambereen and her brother Nadim dropped by to view the mayhem as the players accidentally set fire to the Great Imperial Library at Bey Su, and we toasted the Professor in sparkling Catawaba.
We're all holding up all right; everyone is pitching in to help, so we're all pretty distracted by being so busy. We'll see how we are after May fifth, I guess...
Thank you all again; more to come, as we get ready...
