Something about gaming in M. A. R. Barker's world of Tekumel, with miniatures and other sundry amusements, and all for the fun of it...
Looks amazing!! Have a great time.
Thank you! Everybody just left, and we all laughed our heads off at our misadventures.I wanted the table to look crowded, like ruins piled on top of each other, and also to provide lots of cover in case of ambushes. The players had a good time, and so did I... :)
Incredible (as always). Looking forward to your post-game write-up and more pictures of your great set-up.
Thank you! I try; this is all 'stock' stuff from the shelves in the game room, as I wanted to do a sort of basic but yet interesting table. The game session for today is done; they'll all be back next week. Took lots of photos, and I'll have more for you in tomorrow's update,
As I said in a previous comment, I am also running my first game of the year tomorrow. Today, I've been carefully packing every piece of terrain and every miniature I'll need in this adventure. After I was done, I had a beer and checked your blog, just in case... and what a wonderful surprise it was to find these **fantastic** pictures!!! Wow, Chirine, thank you for that. Now I can say I'm REALLY in the mood for tomorrow!Hope your game - which is happening right about now I guess - is a huge success!! 🤘😎
Thank you, and I think it was. Everybody seemed to be having a good time, and I got to talk about Phil and Tekumel a lot.I'm very, very pleased that you're doing your game - break a leg! :)It's a great honor for me to be able to give you a little of the fun we had, though this little effort, and I'm very pleased to be able to do so. :)
And it's a great honor for me too, simply to share with you what little stuff I get to build in my mini-workbench!I've sent you an email with the title "The Glass Chamber". Three pics taken by my friend Jerome during yesterday's big session. Hope you like them!
Looks gorgeous. Glad to hear you had fun, and looking forward to reading more about it. Actually had Bethorm, my NW gazetteer maps, the solo books and Man of Gold out yesterday for some deep dive into Tekumel. Felt fitting as it heats up here. That always makes me think of Tekumel.
Thank you! Everybody had a good time, and I'm looking forward to the next game session.Great selection! "Bethorm" is really what S&G II and III could have - and should have - been. I think it gives a really good way to play in Phil's Tekumel...
Great spectacle, gaming with son et lumiere!
Thank you! I like putting on a show, so I think you're quite right! :)
