The Golden Parade - Phil would have wallowed in it all...

If you missed the live broadcast of this spectacle last week, you can see it in multiple versions on You Tube. 1. This photo is of the wedge of priestesses marching in front of the golden barges carrying the kings and queens - it's from the 'Golden Parade" in Cairo, and you can see it all on YouTube.

    2. Oh, I see! 'Golden Parade' was the name of it, not just a descriptive text for the blog post. Gotcha. Now I feel stupid.

  2. On a related note, this entry from the Cynopsis newsletter: discovery+ obtained exclusive filming and broadcast access to the discovery of an ancient Egyptian city in Luxor – The Rise of Aten – that was lost under the sands 3,000 years ago. “This new city paints a picture of life in ancient Egypt that has never been seen,” said Scott Lewers, EVP of Multiplatform Programming, Factual & Head of Content, Science. The findings will air in a new special on the streamer.
